    Hi Frits.
    after setting up a new project my midi outputs are prefixed with an”FX” icon (midi inputs having a jack lead icon)
    if I then delete any of the imported plugin listings ie zPitch5.1 (to simplify menus) my midi outputs are also deleted

    Did you use the “import hardware definition” menu to create the FX MIDI outputs?

    Are you trying to delete the unwanted mappings from the start page device list?

    I used ‘new device mapping’ to create the outputs, and I was trying to delete unwanted mappings (to simplify pop up menus in compact mode)

    the good news, after a fresh un/install of 198 I can not reproduce the problem.
