I worked with some audio clips in Podium, and quite often I needed to cut a long audio clip into pieces on the timeline. It wold be good if by resizing an audio clip and pressing SHIFT or CTRL or ALT (or any key) the ‘snap to quantize grid’ function is disabled. An example is an audio track where the voice doesn’t match the BPM exactly. You need to cut it into pieces and move the pieces aligned to a grid.

Maybe not exactly what you requested; but you can toggle quantize on/off with the T shortcut key.

Great, that works too. While resizing a clip and hold the left mousebutton pressed, I can still press T, thats great!

SHIFT/ALT/CTRL would be a just a more common way for any action while the mousebutton is already pressed. But nevermind, different programs, different shortcuts, I just have to get used to it. Thanks 🙂
