    Hi Frits,

there is a small glitch with the track templates. Normally you can’t assign an input device (midi or audio) multiple times. With track templates one is able to produce multiple tracks with the same input device assigned. Its not a crucial bug (its more an inconsistency) but I just wanted to note this 🙂
I would prefer if it is always possible to assign input devices multiple times! This gives the user the choice. A small example: Usually I have to record multiple voices with the same input device. Switching between these voices means reassigning the devices and disabling/enabling record mode on these tracks.

And I have a small FR:
Pressing “x” on an input device disables it but there is no need for disabling such a device. This functionality is already present with the assignment of these devices. It would be useful to disable the input monitoring with “x” while the record button enables the device for recording and input monitoring in general.

    Hey Ronin,

You can clone any input device by copying it and creating a new instance. This way you can send MIDI to multiple instruments at the same time.

Perhaps then save it as part of your default project template.

Frits explained it somewhere here a while ago so you could try searching for it.
