Hello y’all from Kentucky(but I dont normally say y’all, its just for the rest of the worlds amusement). Loving Podium, everything’s clicking well with it, but I’ve noticed that when I switch editor views from one part to another, the view location will stay the same…so if I’m working on notes around, say, C3, in part 1, and in part 2 I may be working in the C5 region, when I switch from part 1 to 2 the view will stay in the C3 area instead of around C5. Granted, this would require some kind of view memory per part. Have I missed it or is it not there? Thanks much everybody-

    I don’t think you’ve missed anything.

I’ll address this in a future update. One solution could be to store the vertical zoom setting for each sequence object, like it is done for arrangements. A simpler solution could be to make the editor automatically scroll the notes into view, when a new sequence object is opened in the editor.

I’d prefer the second solution (centering the view around the notes present). However, as much as I would like this, please make it optional. It’s certainly useful to have the view always center around the same octave when you select different events – i.e., for composing four-part harmony (Vierstimmiger Satz – huh? What’s that called in English now…).
