hi all, just using the demo and can’t sort it out…
everytime I create a new project I’ve got the same error message on any track that says “The assigned mapping produces audio but there are no parent tracks mapping that handles audio” (red button). I use a Midiman 1×1 usb controller at the back of a keyboard. All the Setup sounds good in the Wizard, except I don’t wish to use hardware device definition. I also tried to change the plugin (e.g mda Piano to absynth), nothing happened.
    Somebody to help ? thx.

You probably have missed the step where you place a master output as the first and topmost track. All tracks producing audio should be below it. If you email me your project file with the error, I can quickly tell you what the problem is.

    Hi okdac,

Everything is ok with the interface report. What I meant was that you could email me the project (.pod) file that you have saved. I could then take a look at how you have arranged your tracks.

    😀
Thanks again, you were right (once more ?). I didn’t create a parent track…but… 🙁 bad news…eveytime (et list already 4 since I wrote my last message) I tried to record a new midi track (playing on the keyboard), Podium crashes and I’m back to Windows desktop. I look in the taskmanager, Podium is still running and I can’t close it. After a short time, blue screen… 😕

Hmm, can you audition softsynths using your MIDI keyboard?. Try to select the ‘Ignore time stamps from driver’ option for the MIDI input in the interfaces dialog.

Again, you could email me the project with the arrangement that you’re trying to record MIDI to. Maybe I can detect something in the setup that causes the crash.
