    Hi,

I have had one idea concerning the workflow of Podium, which I thought you find useful eventually.

When the user has collapsed all the tracks that have plugin mappings on them, it’s quite hard to get to these mappings for editing. It would be great to open the plugin editor automatically when clicking on the thin line in the arrangement window. Thus one could easily access the editor window to make little changes. The fact that only ONE mapping can be on this track ist quite useful for this idea! 🙂

This would be similar to Tracktion where the editor opens itself when you click on the “filter icon”. An option could be, to automatically close the editor when clicking on another track. Again this is similar to Tracktion. Don’t say “go use Tracktion, if you find it better than Podium”, because I don’t!! I only find that getting to the plugin editor windows is quite hard sometimes. This would increase the workflow very much, imo.

What do you say, Frits? 🙂

I often click on collapsed tracks to adjust settings in the track inspector. In those cases I would not want the plugin editor to open automatically.

When the user has collapsed all the tracks that have plugin mappings on them, it’s quite hard to get to these mappings for editing.

When you have clicked a collapsed track, you can press the E key, or press the E button in the track inspector to open the editor.

ok, perhaps it’s better the way it is implemented right now.

    Thanks anyway.
