when i load a verb it overloads the cpu. the folks at acustica are confused because computers with less powerful than mine run at 10%?

I have edited your post to show a working link to AcusticAudio.

It seems there is no demo for Nebula 2. Could you please try the Nebula 2 Free and let me know if this also has the overload problem?

Frits, we know it is their problem.

Nebula Free does not have the same problem becasue of its limited libray. Would they not provide a neb2 for you to check out? Better yet, maybe they should buy Podium!

Anyway, if you are inclined Giancarlo is a very nice guy and these guys are definitely on to something!

In the meantime they are testing with Reaper which apparently has the same problem with Nebula.

    Thanks

    I didn’t ask.

Ok, let’s hope that their fixes will make it work with Podium too.

Sam, I was about to suggest trying Nebula 3 CM. It seems the most recent issue of CM magazine has an updated version with improved CPU handling (no more Hybrid/Core+ silliness -it’s been replaced by the confusing econo/normal).

Oh, the issue in question is the Drum n Bass issue, since I just remembered that the UK issue is a month ahead of the US.

…and for people who cannot buy Computermusic or aren’t subscribed to it there is a nice freebie over at KVR (but mind, download is 447MB!) The Nebula HS Reverb (with the Nebula 3 engine it seems). you can find it HERE
