    Hi,
When I have a “certain number” of audio tracks and sequences, the refresh of the meters in the mixer and the zooms and slides of the arrangement become very jerky.
It happends soon with multichannel files but also with a large number of stereo files.
    – will it be possible to have a button to HIDE the meters and / or to hide the meters by track in the mixer (in order to use only the main output one). I know that I can “reduce” the sub tracks in the mixer, but it reduces ALSO the tracks in the Arrange !
    – will it be possible to have an option to TURN OFF the graphic waveforms (with a toggle key), and also to not redraw them when moving the content of the arrange ?
It will help a lot !

I think it is the graphical waveforms of the audio files that are the major cause for the slow graphics update. I don’t think the meters are to blame. Try to hide the audio events, either by sliding them out the top of the window or by maximizing the mixer region. Does the mixer meters then become more responsive?

I will put on my list that the audio event drawing should be optimized.

    Yes.
So turning off the waveform should help ?

Nevertheless, I think that an option to hide the meters will also be useful since multichannel files make very large meters !
I would prefer to see more tracks in the mixer instead of separate meters which most of the time is not necessary.

Yes it would. But I’d rather spend time on optimizing the waveform display. It should be possible to make the graphics very smooth.

    oh…
    Marvelous !
