Switching between the four screens will not affect the main window if it is maximized. The screen feature is useful if you have multiple windows open (sequence editors, plugin editors etc.) and you want to switch between different layouts of those.
Maybe you could consider this in the future. It can be an exceptional feature. In my two previous apps you could assign 24 keys, F keys and shift F keys to different screens……very cool.
