    Hi,

When I drop an audio file on the arrangement it doesn’t appear there but it is added at the object list. from the object list it’s possible to drag it onto a track.
But it’s also not possible to drag and drop an audio file onto an object list.

    >>> So the only place (tracks) where you are allowed to drop an audiofile (assuming you are in the arrangement) that audio file isn’t added, and the place where it is added it’s not possible to drop an audio file.

Also why isn’t it possible to preview and open audiofiles from the object list.
I like the object list because you can arrange a few windows: showing different directories. The browser window is less functional to work with audio libraries in the arrange window

Dropping files in Podium will currently only place them at the top project level. Support for dropping wav and mid files directly onto tracks are on the plan.

Also why isn’t it possible to preview and open audiofiles from the object list.

Would you like a context menu with an option to open a sound editor window, or how would you like it to behave? By preview, you mean a play button/menu in the object list?

Yes that would be very helpfull. in the browser window I like the fact that you can launch the audio editor independant from your arrangement. It would be great if it also was possible in the object lists. Object list are very good as audio library lists from where you can get your audio material in the arrangement. this library function is not really possible with the browser windows ( the labels are to big etc).

ofcource a typical preview function would also a very functional add-on.

    perhaps both 🙂
