Hi Frits,
another feature has just come to mind, I don’t no if this has already been mentioned or not if it has just take it as a reminder because it is quite an important feature maybe podium has already got it and I just have’nt found it yet 😳 . What it is is when you are recording to a channle you can’t monitor the input to that channel so you can get a good clean level before you start recording. Cubase had a button on each audio channel called in, when activated every thing that was playing showed up on the channel as if it was the master channel so you could set the level properly.

It should be possible. When you have assigned an input mapping to a track, and switched the arrangement monitoring on (the power button in the transport toolbar), the audio input should be ‘live’. You can bypass the live input with the ‘X’ button next to the input on the track.
Sorry Im pants at explaining things as you can already see 😆 . you know how synths don’t play the exact same thing every time, somtimes I record several takes and then pick the best one. Lets say I was recording a soft synth to an audio input track. I want to be able to see the output level of that synth, in the meter on the audio input track so I can crank up the soft synths output until this meter is full. I hope this better explains things for you because its the best I can do 😆 😳 .
