LiquidProj3ctParticipantThis is important π

ZynewaveKeymasterSome of the features I have worked on the last months have pushed this a bit back. Would you say support for MIDI plugins is more important than time-stretching?

I wouldn’t say that Midi vst is more important since both of them are on my Wishlist π
But i have allot of midi Vst’s also so it would be nice to have support for them in podium.

IMO while Midi VST fx would be a nice addition, Time stretching (at least IMO) is far more important. π
I think most users expect Time stretching to be present in some form in even lesser priced hosts. Midi FX however are not so much of an expected feature or requested feature compared to timestretching based on what I have read in different forums.
Both are nice features but IMO timestretching is much more important at this time.

LiquidProj3ctParticipantI would say ‘yes’ because you always can pitch shift /timestretch in a external audio editor.
I think MFX is something important, but not critical (critical was the automation bug as example, imo)

Yes, at least for me π . Also making ‘composite track’ feature fully supported on MIDI tracks would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

PiginiParticipantTotally agree with pavouk and liquid. I don’t use timestretching anywhere at all. I work everything in midi and do all changes affecting timing there. Usually I do a dry audio rendering of each track and then only work the effects, mixing and mastering with the audio data.

swindusParticipantFor me MIDI plugs are also more important than time stretching.

thcilnnahojParticipantLooks like I’m a minority here but for me it’s the other way around – no use for MIDI fx, keen on time-stretching. Ah, you win by numbers! π

druidParticipantWell since we’re making a poll on it now, I say audio-stretching more important! I use energyXT to do routing inside each track so I have all the MIDI ability I need. π
