Vista compatibility as well. I forgot to add that. Podium does work on Vista but…I have found that it always takes a long time to exit and some times freezes up completely when trying to exit.

If I stick to my current rate of releasing, then V2 should arrive in about 8 months. Time-stretching should be implemented way before that. I doubt however that notation will be available in V2.

Well if not in V2 then hopefully a consideration at some point in future 🙂

While Notation was my first suggestion in my eariler post, it is not the most important IMO for V2. It can certainly wait.

I do already have options for notation so it is not essential for me but it would be very handy to have some basic level of it in Podium. 8)

Either way looking at the number of features that have made their way into Podium over the last 8 months makes me very confident about the next 8 months and the kind of possible new feature additions, so there is plenty to look forward to between now and V2 anyway. 🙂

    THE Killer Feature?

what about automatic offline rendering/bouncing as chosable on/off per track. If on, a bounce enabled track get’s rendered offline as long as all tracks in the chain serving as source for this tracks remains unaltered. An open plugin panel for example means “get’s altered” and thus the track is processed realtime. When the panel is closed the track could be rendered offline… You need to scan the processing chain down to the sources and flag the sinks up the chain if they need to be processed realtime or could be rendered offline if no source can be altered and switched to bounce mode automatically, if so desired… could be extended to regions only of a track that needs to be rendered again, if something get’s changed in a source within that same region…

thus, decreasing cpu time constantly on the fly, relying more on disk streaming performance … *ahem*

But, to be honest, the bouncing feature the way it is is already a genius’ work 🙂
