    Howdy parteners in rhyme

    Just bought 3 Nanoseries controllers.

I got the NanoKeys2 and Nanopad2 to work in the free version seperately.

NanoKontrol2 NO WORK, except for a pan knob on each track back to front. Faders do not work and neither does the transport bar.

Is there a map set available or tutorial to set it up as I would really like to join this community, just running out of time wasting it on set up instead of making music.

Tried the demo version but exactly the same result.
You might ask which guy has two thumbs and can’t set up a simple DAW.
    I say “This guy” 😆

    HELP Please!

If you search for “nanokontrol” on this forum, you will find a few posts that indicate it should be possible to make it work. This is the preview topic back when the feature was implemented:

I have limited knowledge of the nanokontrol, but I would guess you need to somehow switch it to support MCU mode. Check the Korg manual for that.

    Hi

Yes you were right to try and put it into MCU mode.

I have read all the posts on many many websites and forums and have finally found the simplest answer to get it to work in Podium.

Unplug your nanoKontrol2 and when you plug the unit back in hold “SET and Record”

This puts the unit into MCU mode.

    Success

All three Nano’s work in Podium.
Just need to test if they work simultaneously.

    Update 26 August 2012

I have got all three Korg nanoSeries2 controllers to work at once.

The info on how to do it will be provided to you when you buy Podium.
You have to buy Podium as the limitation is 1 controller on the free version.

Just say it is shaun101 who referred you to podium and I will send you all the details to rock those nano’s.

Cheers 4 now and looking forward to talking to other nano controllers.

    Hi,

I’ve joined here looking for answers. After having been reading a few topics, finally found this:

Hello djshaun, I think this can help me. I explain:

I’ve got an iCON iControls (bassically in the same line of Korg nanokontrol 2). It’s MCU emulated. I’d like to know if, in your case, the button commands for changing between tracks work correctly and if they still do with more than 8 channels.
The iControls has two buttons for moving between 4 banks (not tracks, I think) of 8 channels each but, in my case, only bank 1 responds correctly. Your experience with nano would help me to find out if iControls uses or not the same control function as nanokontrol2 for this buttons. Then I could inform Zynewave about.

Though i can manage changing manually each 8 channels, it’s not the same that controlling 32 channels with a simple button touch (perfect!)

It seems there aren’t many users of iControls in the forum and i have to read and post in these topics about nanokontrol…

    Cheers!
