    I’m not sure if this is a bug but if I want to set up a project for all my VSTs where the VST path is pointed to my main VST folder but then also create a specialised project for just one VST – e.g. I have a project just for my Access Virus Ti as I use different drivers for that – I find when I open my “All VST’s” project again it has lost them all because it’s looking in the Access (or whatever) folder rather than the main shared VST folder.

    Surely this should not happen and each project should retain it’s own VST path?

    What would also be useful is if I want a project to use a particular audio interface I could just set it up for that without it affecting my other projects – i.e. it should be a per project setting not a global one. e.g. for some things my Viris Ti drivers perform better than my NI KORE drivers so I would like to have a Virus Ti project and a KORE project and for each to load the right drivers when open instead of having to change the global settings each time.

    It’s not a bug. It’s a feature! 😀
    The folder and the device settings are global settings which means that they are not dependant on the project you choose. Just the device mappings are depending on the project. You can’t use your Virus driver for a special project in podium right know (nor is it possible in any other host i know). You have to switch the global driver settings.

    OK that’s a pity – it would be a nice feature. The way you set up a project does seem to imply this should be how it works though – it takes you through the steps of deciding your audio/midi interface and plugin folder each time you create a new project so why not have these settings on a per project basis rather than a global one? (or at least the option)

    Hmm you are right. The project wizard suggests this. Mayb you can ask frits to accept this as a FR 🙂
