Topic: Map zones from a MIDI kbrd to different VSTs

    Hi,

    How would I map a single MIDI input from a fairly basic MIDI keyboard so that different zones on the keys map to different vst instruments.
    (i.e. Upper part of keys plays strings, lower part plays bass)

    Is that possible using podium, some other Vst plug-in or some other (free) tool?

    IMO thats not possible in Podium but Topten’s Cantabile is able to do so. Consider this tool as a swiss-army-knife for VST live-performances. It is a really cool thing and there is a free lite version too. I’m a user of the solo version and it has midi filters to perform keyboard splits.

    Thanks, Live performances is what I was thinking of … I’ll check it out.
