    Hi, there,

Does Podium (yet) allow you to specify the MIDI channel of a note in a track that you can change per note?

I know some sequencers do this (Sonar, Cubase) which allows easier control over orchestral plugs that, say, have 16 patches loaded per instrument (one for each articulation, for example, with each on it’s own MIDI channel) and in one melody line you might use all 16 of them.

This, though, requires you to be able to change the MIDI channel on a note level in order to do this.

Does Podium’s MIDI editor allow for this yet? If not, is it on the to-do list?

    Thanks a lot,

No. MIDI channel information is not stored in the note events. The mapping on the track decides which MIDI channel the notes are output to.

One thing that is on the plan, is an option for the piano-roll editor to show note sequences from multiple tracks (allowing for different MIDI channels).
