I don’t understand how to configure a VST plugin to send MIDI to a specific output. Once I select the Mapping Type as a software plugin, I lose the capability of assigning a MIDI output interface. Do I need to configure a generic device and somehow route the MIDI out from the plugin to the device? Any help would be appreciated. What I am trying to accomplish is to control two hardware effects (Line 6 POD and Beringer VAmp) via some Synth Edit plugins that generate CC values as outs.
Thanks in advance for any help. I am having a hard time understanding the Device mapping section of the manual.
