    Hi Frits
I often think it would be handy to have a “force to mono” switch on track headers/mixer channels… to force everything on a track to mono. Could be applied to bass, drums etc… then the tracks could be panned afterwards if required (ie panning is applied after force to mono, not before)

    What do you think?

    +1 !

Sometimes I need to force stereo to mono because it is the best way to check the monocompatibility of the track, but I can’t find out how to do that in Podium. Is it possible?

I’ve been doing it with third party plugins, eg DFX Monomaker
    http://destroyfx.smartelectronix.com/software/monomaker-win.zip
But a mono switch in Podium would be much more efficient Frits,….this feature like many others can wait if it’s going to take too much time 8)

    Thanks for the link, super_crunchy!

But I agree, mono switch would be more efficient 😉

I’ll think about the stereo to mono track option. If you want to hear the final output in mono (to test your song for mono compatibility), you can temporarily select the master mono mapping on the master track. This will mix stereo tracks to mono.
