Topic: NO audio master channel frozen

I had a track with a delay effect that began to feedback like crazy causing the track and master channel to clip into red(purple in my case). I was able to remove the effect and stop the track as it happened but now it seems the master is stuck and i cannot get any sound from this project, others load and play fine. So it seems like the project is saved like that.
