I don’t have a keyboard and haven’t really found a need to purchase one as for the most part it woudn’t be used much (guitar guy here). For the very few times I’ve needed one when using Tracktion I could use mKey or Trollo to simulate a piano keyboard using the computer keyboard.

In Tracktion I would drop either of these onto a track, and set the output of the track to MidiYoke channel something. I would then set up another track with Midiyoke Channel something as the input and drop a VSTi plugin on that track. With that I could play/record using the PC keyboard.

I have absolutley no idea how I would set this up within Podium. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

ps. one of these days I’ve got to pick up a keyboard.

I think that the easiest way is to embed your keyboard plugin in SAVIHost and send the MIDI between it and Podium with MIDIYoke

You can also use Bome’s Mouse Keyboard which is a standalone program, you will only need to select the MIDI Yoke output in its settings.

Of course, don’t forget to activate the MIDI Yoke input in the “MIDI/Audio Interfaces box” of Podium 😉
