Just been having a look at where Offline Bounce is in the future map.. err.. any chance of it being bumped up abit? 🙂

My laptop doesn’t always cope too well, and often final mix downs take quite a while – I manage to bounce about a bar, then get a max out, so I rewind around 3 bars, play, let the reverb & delay fill up, at the right point re-enable record, get the next bit/ bar.. repeat until complete…

This can take a while…! I have a P3 1Ghz machine, which is fine for the most part, it’s when I set the plugs for max quality that everything goes wild..

    Anychance of a bump???

Note to self: Implement offline bounce for Duncan 😉
The items on the future map is not necessarily listed in order of priority.

It’s a big feature to implement though, so it won’t be here for some months.

    Thanks Frits!

As and when it comes it’ll be great. I’m really enjoying the default GUI – nicest I’ve seen in any host! Some plugs have additional features which are not available through the manufacturers GUI – any chance that a switch could be available to toggle the supplied GUI and a default GUI? I use hidden parameters in my BetaBugs plugs, so that there is more there than meets the eye, but sometimes need to much about behind the scenes.. This isn’t definite requirement, just a nicety really!

    I Love this software!

    just a nicety really!

I’ll get to those, when all the necessities has been implemented 😉

Since you’re developing the plugs yourself, would it not be easy just to compile an alternative version without the hasEditor flag?

Actually, I’d like the ability to optionally use the default GUI too – I often find the interface supplied with some VSTs to be a bit fiddly and slow and so would prefer to use the Podium GUI in these cases.

Ok, it should be a simple thing to implement. I’ll probably make it an option in the plugin section of the device mapping properties dialog.
