Topic: Play/Record Disabled

    Hi. New to Podium – I have a playback/record button disabled. I have everything set up properly (far as I can see), but when I press the play button, it doesn’t do anything. When armed for record, nothing happens either.

    I’ve worked with several DAW’s in the past, and this is the first time I’ve run into this issue. Any suggestions?

    Hi there and welcome shiftydog.

    Really fast out of my head;
    Have you set up your audio drivers?
    Is the “power” button next to the play/Stop set “on” 😛

    Figured it out – I’m using spdif in, and was using mono input. Some reason, when I picked stereo input, everything came alive. Which is actually pretty sweet – stereo wasn’t even an option in my other DAW!!

    I’m good to go. Thanks for the reply.

    P.S. Can’t believe this is a freebie. It’s all I use now. It’s not often I take the time to learn keyboard shortcuts…
