Topic: Presets don’t seem to work with Energy XT

    I can’ t get eXT to load its settings. Tried all preset options but no luck. Can somebody give it a try.

    Also minor thing
    eXT is the kind of vst(i) with resizable window. In podium I have to close and reopen the plugins each time the interface has changed to draw the right windowsize

    Frits,

    If you not have a registered version you won’t be able to load saved files anyway.

    I Just mention it to spare you the trouble.

    Damn. Well I can at least check out the window resize problem. So you have tried both with program and bank library presets?

    I have reloaded the default setup and now it finally seems to work with bank preset.

    I have it “a lot” that things don’t seem to work, wathever I try but after reloading the default setup things start to work.

    Is it possible that settings are getting corrupted or getting “confused” by switching between different projects?
    I had it also with the missing edit button for insert plugins

    Well I should try loading default setup first before I come here to bother you

    Are you using eXT as insert or global plugin?

    I have experienced that some plugins have problems when using multiple instances. Changing parameters in one plugin instance will change/corrupt the preset in the other instance etc.

    hmm yes, you are right, although I don’t know this is the same problem.

    When I tried before when it seemed to work i had started a project with eXT as an insert plugin >> that’s when the preset seemed to work

    When I switch eXT to a global plugin the setting arent loaded (eg the preset function doesn’t work)

    If I open the preset properties I can see that it has content because it shows the normal size. but it doesn’t seem to load

    edit:
    I reloaded the default setup and now both modes seems to work again.

    Would be great if you could find these problems with free plugins. Currently my finances don’t allow me to purchase every plugin that causes problems in Podium 😥
