    At the moment when creating a new project we can select global VST folder and start the project with all plugs imported. How about to add some options there? For example:
    – select VST plugin folder (and start project with all plugs imported, just like it works now);
    – select VST plugins (select a few dlls and automatically import them to a new project);
    – start with no VST plugins.

    That would be useful in my opinion.

    Thanks.

    Why not use the project template feature for this?

    For example: You start by creating a project with all plugins imported. Name the project “New Project – All plugins”, and choose “Save project as template”. Then delete all plugin mappings, name the project “New Project – No plugins”, and “Save project as template”. You now have these two projects as options when you use the “new project” menu.

    But that won’t give the option to import just a selection of Plugins in a newly created project.

    Then just start out with the “New project – No plugins” project template, and then use the import plugin command in the device list menu. This is just as fast as if you had the option to do this on the “create new project” page.

    I see πŸ˜† you just don’t want to mess up the new project start page.. But your solution sounds good to me.

    I use project template feature for this now πŸ˜‰

    I’ve decided to post this idea because I think that additional plugin import options on start page will make it useful for all Podium users (import all plugins on startup is useful only for the beginners in my opinion).

    But, as Podianer said, if it will mess up project start page – no problem. Project templates solution is good enough for me πŸ™‚

    Just came to my mind: plugin import options on startup page would also be useful for beginners, it can show the different ways to work with VST plugs in Podium.
