I’ll start by saying that this is an impressive effort for one programmer [and the small community here] and I really like what I see. Keep up the good work, I’m sure I will be making this purchase soon. In the meanwhile…

My question is in regards to the scanning of the VST folder during the creation of projects. Please let me know if I understand this correctly…

Every time I start a new project Podium will scan my plugin directory. Is this on purpose or did I miss something in the help file? Or, am I missing the logic behind this type of workflow in the application?

    Thanks in advance!

p.s. If this has been addressed before please point me in the right direction.

    Hi,

This is on purpose. Unlike other sequencers which handles the plugin list as part of the program settings, Podium includes mappings for the plugins in the project file. This means you can include a selection of your plugins and organize them the way you want for a particular project. If you prefer to have all your plugins handy in every project, then you can save a default.pod file once you have created your first project. This file will then be loaded as template every time you select the ‘new project’ menu.

I guess I can see the need for that. And thanks for the quick response.
