Well, I must overlook something obvious. I record a patch in Rhino2 with a sharp attack sound followed by a looooooong 😆 evolving pad with bells and whistles, that could last 45 minutes if you would think that would still be musical. In Reaper it actually gets recorded as long as I wish. In Podium (I checked that all midi messages like aftertouch and all will be recorded) some notes are NOT recorded as long as I play them = the sound stops, there are gaps. I can manually edit that in the piano roll of course, but what could I do wrong here in Podium, as it works in another host? I’m puzzled, surely a very basic thing? My midi controller is a Yamaha Clavinova, and I don’t need to use the pedals or so for recording that Rhino2 sound.
Just wanted to know – musically the recording of that track didn’t make much sense anyway 😆

Sounds weird. So you are holding a chord on your keyboard, and the notes recorded by Podium stops before you release the chord?

Yes, Frits. And I can’t get rid of the fact that it is ME that is doing something wrong, as that never happened before with any synth. (scratch;-). I’ll just try again. In case you got Rhino2, I just noodled along with a preset called “vector1” of the factory 2.0bank. I can’t find the mistake.

edit: well I just sent you some files via e-mail. I can’t figure out what I did wrong, and the problem persists. With original same setup I can record midi without a problem in other hosts. ❓ ❓ Something I might have changed without noticing it? See your e-mail, if you got some spare time, Frits. Thank you!
