I’ve run into something a little weird and I couldn’t find an answer through search (so if there is an existing answer, kindly point me in that direction).

I have two audio files recorded within Podium that exhibit digital artifacts. One has a pop and the other has a section that distorts. The files (recorded within Podium) are actually fine (I’ve opened them up in Adobe Audition and found nothing wrong) which leads me to believe that however Podium has indexed them has been corrupted. I have tried relinking them but that was unsuccessful. Is there a way to force Podium to re-scan or re-import the files?

    Thanks,
    JP

    Try this:

    • Delete the two old audio files in the project folder (if it exists). Also delete the two corresponding .mini files.
    • Rename the two new audio files, move them into another folder and import them in Podium (in a new project).
    • Import the two new audio files in another software other than Adobe Audition (Audacity, Wavosaur, etc…) and see what happens.

    More than that, I don’t know…

    You know…

it was all user error. I was opening the wrong file in Audition. When I opened the correct file I found the actual corrupted audio and fixed it…
