Would it be possible than in addition to ‘releasing ASIO drivers when podium does not have focus’ option that is currently available, we could also release them on demand…

One quick way of doing this might be by ctrl+clicking on the power button…

The reason I ask is that sometimes when rendering a track in one instance of podium, I go to another and for some reason the drivers haven’t been released…. sometimes I have templates which are purely for bouncing so I don’t need asio monitoring at all, but don’t want to have to change this globally in the podium setup as a whole.. it would be easier to just disable it temporarily for the local project that is open…

If you go to Setup -> Preferences then to the Various tab, down the bottom there is a Release drivers when Podium does not have focus option.

Are you sure that is not what you want?

Perhaps you could keep two setup files, with the only difference that one setup file has all the interfaces deselected. You can then switch between setups by loading or dragging a setup file onto the Podium window, and thereby enable/disable the interfaces.
