Hello, I want to use Renoise as rewire master and Podium as slave, but Podium doesn´t appear in Renoise as Rewire device. I have activated “Enable rewire” in Podium. Thank you for your help…

I’m sorry to say Podium can only be the ReWire master. It’s not possible to use it as slave.

Hello, thanks for answer. So I tried to use it as master, but it doesn´t work. Is here somebody who knows how to connect Renoise and Podium via ReWire? I started Podium, then I started Renoise (asks me if I want to use it as slave of another ReWire app which is already running), and then nothing happens, synchronization doesn´t work and Renoise doesn´t appear in Podium´s ReWire devices lists… (there are only Reaper and FL Studio). But If I want to close Podium it says it is waiting for another ReWire application which must be closed first. So it seems that Podium can recognise Renoise…? Where I made a mistake? Thank you very much for hint…

I just tried the demo and got it to work without problems. Renoise showed up as ReWire devices in Podium without even starting it first. If they don’t appear, try using the ‘Update ReWire Mappings’ option from the devices menu (the button above the devices column on the project start page).

I know this is a problem with Ableton Live, for example, but I think you don’t have to run Renoise separately. Just try running Podium, drag some of Renoise’s ReWire device mappings to the tracklist and power the arrangement on, and Renoise should start automatically!
