    Hi,

It is not actually possible to make an event longer from the begining (automation envelopes sequences).
We must draw a new sequence defore and merge the two, or sometimes faster, delete the sequence and draw a new one…

I am used to this workaround, but it is too silly to do it every time 😥

Could you allow the resizing in both directions please ?

Eventually, yes. It’s a bit tricky, because resizing the event to an earlier start time than the zero position inside the sequence requires that all events inside the resized sequence should be time-shifted correspondingly. Resizing the end of the sequence event only modifies the duration of the sequence event.

I suppose that it is the same reason for which the sound is stoped when we split or change the begining position of an audio event ?

Without being of a high priority, I think that it would be a good think to be corrected, because it is something rather incomprehensible from the point of view of the user, since this limit is not present in any other software.
It is so evident to do it that it appears to be something like a bug when it is not…

    They are related, yes.

One year later : since the audio part is solved, is there any chance ?

    Not before the 2.0 release.
