Hi – I am getting an error message from DrumCore when I use bounce in v2.07, even if it is not the DrumCore track I am bouncing. The error message is – DrumCore ReWire error: Invalid Parameter (DriveAudio).

Whenever I click ok in the error message it justs comes back up and I have to exit Podium to get rid of it.

I’m also getting DrumCore ReWire error 666 (IsPanelAppLaunched) when I drag and drop from DrumCore into Podium

Have you used Drumcore successfully before with earlier Podium versions?

Does the error occur if you bounce the master, or another track?

If you try to switch to realtime bounce, does the error appear?

It happens when bouncing any track, including the master. It seems to happen everytime with bounce but so far not with realtime bounce.

I had lots of rewire errors in with DrumCore in the first beta containing rewire but a lot if those were removed when that version was officially released. Unfortunately, I have not had much time to use Podium since then so I cannot say for sure whether they caused the same errors.

I’ll test DrumCore once I’m done working on the composite track feature in 2.08.

I remember having a hard time with DrumCore when I tried it during the implementation of ReWire support in Podium. There were no uninstaller with DrumCore and I had to do a system restore in Vista to get rid of it. This time I downloaded and installed the DrumCore demo on my old laptop. I try to keep my development PC as clean as possible, so that excludes software that won’t uninstall easily.

I can confirm that I also get the “DrumCore ReWire error 666 (IsPanelAppLaunched)” error when I try to use DrumCore.

The Propellerheads source code comment for ReWire error 666 reads:
/* DLL error – call the cops! */

This leaves me with no clue as to what goes wrong.

Have you tried to contact the DrumCore developers? If you have the standard 200$ drumcore version, maybe they wouldn’t mind testing it in Podium for you?
