    However, I’m thinking now, you could use any virtual midi ports, like MidiYoke, and if you need use vst plugin you could do it in any free host that support them.ie:

    Podium -> MidiYoke Out(1)
    MidiYoke In(1) -> HOSTX
    HOSTX-> MidiYoke Out (2)
    MidiYoke Out(2) -> Podium

    Yes, it’s a bit clusmy, but at least you could do it meanwhile

    sounds like ReWire to me …

    i’m looking for this :
    use energy-XT VST as step sequencer to trigger Poise plugged into Podium ( i could plug it into energy-XT but it doesn’t support multi out right now … )

    Yes, Rewire is another option, I did it with FL Studio sometime ago:

    And it also would work for trigger Poise plugged in Podium.

    However I find easier use the Podium’s own step sequencer

    well, there are reasons i’m searching for a way to use energy-XT like this
    1) Step Sequence Mode ( i can navigate the grid with the cursor keys and place notes with the insert key – no need to touch the mouse for constructing beats )
    2) Live Mode ( i can select various patterns trough midi notes ) –> something like Ableton Live
    3) use multiout synths / samplers in Podium

    That’s quite a feature request 🙂

    I’d be happy to have native midi routing between plug-ins and then maybe just find a VST that could act at a sequencer/arp.

    I know SugarBytes and Ugo (Dualism) have some pretty powerful midi tools. I’m sure there are many others.

    edit: Yes I currently use Energy XT for this but….
