Ok. Another crazy idea.
Everyone has those little pieces of music that just hang around gathering digital dust. They’re not complete songs by any stretch of the imagination, more like little snippets of goodness 🙂
We tell ourselves that we will come back to it and finish up one day but truth-be-told, we never do. And they never really see the light of day. I know there are quite a few that I have that seemed like a good idea at the time but for whatever reason never got finished.
So I say, why not set them free into the wild.
What do you all think? Post up an mp3 or a brief project with that awesome idea and let others in the forum take the baton and run with it. It’s sort of like a free-for-all collaboration. Except we get to see what a bunch of folk might do with the same small motif or snippet of an idea.
No pressure of course. Participation would be totally voluntary and the only rule would be that no one could profit from either end of the equation unless it was agreed to by both parties. So…
