Topic: Sidechain compression help

    Hey 🙂
    I am a very noob at music production. So I dont even know how to use the sidechain compression effect in zynewave podium.

    I watched a loooooooooooooooot of videos on youtube about it. but in every vid there it does work in a way, in which it cant work in podium.. I tried to do the same thing as the people in the video step by step, but there was always a point on which I did not know how to continue.

    I like to get this pumping kick drum effect (everytime when the kick drum hits, the volume of the synth drops)

    Actually my main problem is that I dont know on which track (kick drum or synth?) I have to put the compressor, and how to let the kick drum influence the volume of the synth…

    And I DONT know anything about busses (send & return)… but I guess I will need these..

    I would be reaaally thankful if someone would explain it step-by-step.

    lol its not like I did not use the search feature of the forum…
    I have already read that post today but I did not understand a lot of things or did not know how to do them in zynewave podium..

    But I will read it again today slowly… if its does not help I will tell you guys here what exactly I dont understand..

    YEAAAAAAAAAAH MAN I FIGURED IT OUT :))

    But is it normal that for this effect the compressor HAS TO have multi-input?
    Because I think not every compressor has that..

    And how can I sidechain more than 1 synth with my kick drum? for example 2 synths and 1 bassline..

    And I dont know but in your tutorial you created a 3rd channel (pumpin output) I did not need this channel!

    EDIT: I got it how to sidechain more synths.. just put the effect on a group track and put the synths into that group 🙂
