Topic: Strange Intakt bug….

    For some reason intakt won’t open rex (.rx2) files within podium…. in standalone mode it works fine however…. For lack of use of reason, intakt is a pretty important part of my setup.. It’s got me boggled completely, anyone got the same problem or know a workaround? I can still open wav files within intakt within podium, however the auto-slicer is well off the mark compared to recycle…

    Hi xis23,

    I downloaded the Intakt demo, and found some example rx2 files here:

    http://www.loopmasters.com/Rex-Downloads.asp

    I loaded the Intakt Demo VST in Podium, mapped it to a track, located the rx2 file with the Intakt browser, double-clicked, and the rex file loaded and played ok. Is this similar to how you are trying to use the rx2 files?

    Yep, thats exactly what I tried… I have tried downloading the demo too and doing it with that but still no luck… This must means it is something to do with my setup specifically then, i’ll tinker some more and post back if i have any luck.. The exact error message it gives when i try to load a rex file is “ERROR: could not load sample (file seems to be corrupted), although the files work fine in the standalone so they can’t be.

    Thanks for the help Fritz, at least i know i should be able to get it to work within podium now somehow…

    hmmm… i reinstalled windows and it works fine now… random…
