AngelicLightParticipantHey, Podianer,
I love your rock guitar tone. I’ve got a Guitar Port but haven’t used it much.
Any chance you’d let on what amp models you are using?
Thanks a bunch!

Hey. I don’t know which song you mean in specific. The songs from the album, which is linked here, are recorded with the sounds of my GT8 (which I sold via eBay a few days ago 🙁 ) at least the rhythm guitars. The solo guitar parts are Toneport. I very like the Angel P-Ball Amp and the Solo 100. The P-Ball is from the metal expansion. From all the over 68 amps I have, I hardly use more than these 2 🙂 I transferred all my Model Packs to my PodXT which can also be used by my GearboxPlugin. Together with Podium’s excellent bounce feature, it is a breeze to re-amp and try different amp settings without the need of recording again. Highly flexible approach imo. Do you have any Model Packs enabled in your Toneport?

xis23Participanthere is two i made earlier:
dark dnb style track – was after something spor sounding – maximum kick drum and bass (you literally have to filter the 2nd harmonic out of the bass then sandwhich the kick drum where the bass harmonic was)… i made too many errors in my engineering though…
dreamcore – – i slammed this one through the compressors and left the filters open as i spend a lot of time in sound preperation eqing the high end, only to filter it out so thought it would be nice to let some highend through for once.. i fixed the engineering of the bass from the last one so there is more attack and less sustain on the low end but still lots of sustain on the top end without the two seperate bass streams going out of phase through the long fx chains. not sure what i was thinking with that compression tho! didnt spend much time on mixing, was more bothered with technical aspects in other areas.
so hopefully next track i make will have the best bits of what i learnt out of the last two tracks, but with none of the errors/experimenting. the production is getting incredibly hard to do what i want :(…

MaxParticipantUsing xspf flash player in the right part of the page you can demo 2 tracks made with Podium: it’s Lifeforms (ambient) and Tapemachine (techy).
Comments are welcome…

kyranParticipantI made this track to try out podium (the CM edition). It’s sort of dubstepish
http://www.electrobel.be/muzik/19067/One_Night_In__
Unfortunately it crached every six hours (mostly while handling bounce tracks), and I kind of missed groove quantisation and advanced wave editing stuff, but overall the experience was nice.
I hope you guys like it

xis23ParticipantThanks man! I just finished remastering that one so it’s got a bit more bounce:

And finished this, a punky, spor influenced neuro track thing that goes straight for the jugular ! Loving podium more and more every day!
