Topic: urgent help needed please podiums going crazy

    when i load a vsti synth and load a patch thru the synths default preset editor albino or vanguard works fine. but when i chnage presets in any softsynth as soon as i press a key in the pianoroll the synth changes back to the original preset. it doesnt do this when i insert a note in the pianoroll though. realy weird.

    also vanguard just puts and sputters when hitting the pianoroll most of the time and after if i press all the buttons vanguard just plays for no reason and also the more notes i press it will play the notes all it once in constant repition even when the play buttons not on. . jeez sometimes i want to put a bullet in my head this programs so confusing. i honestly have no clue how people can get past the learning curve :frustrated:

    im not being a hypochondriac at all. im actauly haveing this many problems right now. could this be due to how podium handles presets now? also podiums load button has a lag when browsing vanguard patches and to top it off after the octave problem my soundcard will play this loud hiss over and over till i restart. so frits uh you think you can help me šŸ˜³

    don’t worry, your not ill :O… it’s because the presets are synced to the synths’ bank now, what you gotta do is right click on the track and create a new preset if you want to change stuff from the preset.

    Ahh, this is an oversight in the new preset system. The plugin program reverts to the original because the original is assigned as an object on the track. I should change it so that program selection made in the plugin editor will also change the object assigned on the track. I always use the Podium preset panel to change programs, so this problem has escaped me so far. I’ll fix it for one of the next releases. Until then you can either change the program in the preset panel, or do what xis23 suggested.
