Currently SPAN and Elephant 2.0 seem to cause podium to crash when it renders… I think soeme of the voxengo plugins enable oversampling and stuff automatically upon bouncing? maybe this is part of the problem?

Sorry, this won’t be of much help… Just want to add that I often use SPAN 2.2 and am currently trying the demo for Elephant 3(.7.2) without problems so far – offline bouncing, oversampling and all.

In Elephant 3 you can select to never use oversampling, always use it, or only during offline bouncing. Maybe Elephant 2 has a similar option you could try to disable it? Still, even if it’s related to oversampling, it wouldn’t explain why SPAN crashes for you… :-k

How does your chain look? My template has SPAN 2.2 in it, originally on the Master FX chain though now on a bus track, but I have never had a crash from it.

ok it seems to be a combination of plugins… for instance: kontakt on it’s own fine… chorus ch-1 on it’s own or with another source is fine… mix konatakt with chorus ch-1 as an fx and then podium will crash on bounce… i have tested this using a new arrangement with no other vsts in it

think it might have been a corrupt device definition file… reimported the device and it’s fine… if i switch the original to a different device definition it seems to be fine too

Did you update SPAN from an older version, possibly the 1.x series, and not reimport the file (which would result in an incorrect device definition)? That may have done it?
