    Hi.

My VSt that plays the drums has 6 stereo out with hihat on 1+2, snare on 3+4 etc.

How can i make all outputs available in the mixer?
I want to lower the hihat without touching the snares… as I do in a live-mix.

    Thanx

    Hi blafot,

Well, in order to to use multi-timbral instruments and thus use all their MIDI channels with their respective output channels in the Mixer, you will have to drag from the inspector’s Devices section the plugin folder ending in #1 to the Timeline.
    Here’s a tutorial on this:

    Hi. Thanx.

Im using Shortcircuit and I can see how the meeters in the mixer mooves right as it should do… but i can’t get any sound out of it…. Nothing at all.

Switching back to the old VST-i it works great but everything on one pair of stereo.

I can’t get it to rout to the master. How?

    Regards

I guess you tried Shortcircuit v2 first. It is known to have some bugs and is abandonware now, yet never caused me any problems so far. But still.

So, I’m not very sure what might be the problem, but it is my guess that there’s something with the routing in SC itself.

Try this: Delete all the MIDI tracks from 2 to 16, and use the first one only as a master MIDI track. Then assign every sound, sample, instrument in Shocrtcircuit to its own audio output channel. This is done in the “Output” section at the right, under “Pan” – out 1-2, out 3-4 etc….

This done, everything should be just fine.

    Good Luck and Best Vibes

    Hi.
No…. When SC was freeware I downloaded SC2 but… it was not the VST I needed but I found it in SC1.
I use to work with SFZ and samles in SFZ-format (there is a great editor in sfz-ed) but it will not trigg ok with my drums so SC1 will be the best choice.

Deleted och miditrack and… there was sound. Great. Perfect. I’m Happy! Can go on recording. Maybe some backing vocals today later when my kids are sleeping….

    Thanx!
