lewParticipanti’ve just begun fiddling with this and i like the idea of experimenting before i buy, but none of my vsts are loading…
a few were at first, but after using j bridge, NONE are…
i thought perhaps it was a compatibility issue, but eve the ones recommended by zynewave are not workingthis is what i’ve downloaded:
AcidLab
Artemis
BassOne
Alchemy (worked before jbridge)
Charlatan
Crystal (worked before jbridge)
Deputy 1.0.4 (worked before jbridge)
Drumatic (recommended but never worked)
Drumcore3free
DSK synthDrums
FireBird
Nucleum (uhhh this was developed by Zynewave, right?)
Silver Bassand a few others…. if anyone could tell me what works and what doesn’t…
oh and everything is under the right file paths etc… bridged vst are separate from original… i”m just getting frustrated with Podium, but the blogs and youtube demos are sooo encouraging…
bout to ditch 🙁

ZynewaveKeymasterHi,
I recommend using jBridge only if you absolutely must use plugins that are not available in the x86/x64 format matching the Podium version. If you only use 32-bit plugins, I recommend sticking to the non x64 version of Podium. Using jBridge can be tricky, and you need to run Podium in administrator mode.

lewParticipantokay so i’m gonna uninstall the j bridge, but then still only a few of my vst would show, and none of the drums including the recommended ones, maybe i should un- and re- install podium and start from scratch?

ZynewaveKeymasterNo need to reinstall Podium, unless you need to switch x86/x64 version. Nucleum for example is only available in a 32-bit version (x86), which means you cannot use it with Podium x64.

lewParticipantalrighty, thanx.. i’m pretty sure i went with the x64 version, perhaps switching to x86 will be compatible for the other vsts… but i thought that was what the jbridge was for…?

new question, but related and specific: i can’t get Camel Audio’s AlchemyPlayer to run..any help with this?
i like AlchemyFree in my mobile for jotting down quick sound ideas while i’m at my real job and i’d like to be able to use the desktop version without having to run another host and then importing…
