I’m trying to understand the filing system behind podium but can’t figure out where the sound files
    are going at all?

I tried assigning the “Sound file cache folder” however nothing showed up there while recording.

Sometimes I do sessions with rappers that do multiple takes, even hundreds of files sometimes and I need them to be going somewhere? are they being stored in the ram until I save them?

Yes, they are stored in the ram. Take a look at the Windows Task Manager during the recording session. The amount of ram used by Podium increases very quickly.
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S combo saves all changes in the project, even the audio edits like the bounced and recorded tracks. You can find these files in the project folder.

Amazing! Thank you! I actually love this method now because there’s not risk of the hard drive not being fast enough etc. PODIUM RANK#1
