I’ve been testing this program and it’s fantastic so far! Great job!

I’m very close to buying the full version and making this my main DAW, but need to make sure everything works first.

I ran into one issue which is that when I add wav files as a track they play back at the wrong pitch (sample rate). Also when I used the wave editor and selected a section, then did a fade-in, Podium was crashing, and I can reproduce it.

Anyone else ran into this? I’m new, so apologies in advance if I missed an FAQ.

    I’m on Windows XP SP3 – P4 2.4GHz, 768Megs RAM

    Best regards,

    Gino

    Hi Gino,

AFAIK Podium currently does not support resampling. Hence, all imported audio files should be using the samplerate the project is using. I think Frits has this already on his todo-list.

The second thing sounds like a bug. If it is reproducable like you already said, please provide some detailed steps so Frits can reproduce it too. I’m sure he’ll fix it as soon as he can.

    Hi Gino,

I just tested the fade-in command, and I did manage to get a crash if I selected a segment that stretched beyond the end of the sound. I’ll fix that. Let me know if you can get it to crash in another way.

    Thanks Frits,

I selected in the middle of the wave and went all the way to the left, so it sounds like you got it.

    Best regards,

    Gino
