So, Frits, you have a new computer now? Congratulations if you do…

I don’t have a new computer yet. Still no ETA of a 64-bit Podium build.

Sorry, no news on the 64-bit front. I’m still using my old Vista 32-bit PC.

    Frits,
Would moving to Win 7 64-bit involve new hardware in addition to the OS or is your machine capable enough of handling Win 7 64-bit? How much does Microsoft charge for the upgrade version of Windows 7 64-bit in Denmark?

My PC should handle a Win7 upgrade, but I still need my Vista 32-bit install to be able to test Podium on that platform. Rather than wasting time on purchasing a second harddrive and setting up a dual boot system, I would prefer to buy a new cheap PC.

I only have OEM versions of Windows, so I can’t buy the cheaper Win7 upgrade version. A full Win7 version costs about 250US$ in Denmark.

I finally have some good news on the x64 front. Podium 2.43 will probably be released as both x86 and x64.
