Hi guys. Some time ago I asked about demo songs, and I see where it can be difficult, especially with vsts and such, as well as expanding the size of Podium’s nice and small file. So, I propose we have one place to store all of the .pod files that anybody can contribute to. Then, if anyone has a file which includes vsts, they can just say which ones are required. As for me, I have plenty of free vsts and would try to use just those free ones for the public .pod files. Right now I have nothing worth submitting, but just give me some time…
If it were given a big fat link on the front page, another in the forums(sticky by the music lounge maybe?), then we could see each others styles, and the new guys would have numerous examples of why Podium is so great, instead of a blank screen. To me it’s good advertising.
    Is this a good idea?

+1 to this suggestion (though I’d like to give it a +∞).

    Nucleum Music .pod files too?!

Great idea. What about a ‘File’ menu entry similar to ‘Save Project As…’? eg. ‘Upload Project to Zynewave.com’ (abbreviated to something appropriate).

If you can provide some example projects, I could easily set up a demo project page in the wiki section. The project file can be uploaded there, along with a short description. Similar to how the the current color setup page works:

Building FTP upload into Podium is a bit of work, so I would put a low priority on that.

To be honest, I don’t have any complete songs, just fragments and sketches so far. I looked around and found what living links I could, all of which require Nucleum:

    http://www.box.net/shared/7a300xaaoi
    http://www.zynewave.com/files/Nucleum096.zip
Would that be alright? Guess it depends on what the original creators want, though the files are already public. And would you want renewed focus on Nucleum?
Time to get in gear on a real song! Be seeing you-

The Nucleum projects I did are free to reuse for all purposes. They probably don’t load correctly in current versions, though, mostly because of changes to the automation system.

Thanks, Thcilnnahoj. I’ll check the files in the newer Podium, see what sticks.
