Hi everyone! I have tried using Z3TA+ 2.1 in Podium and found that it does not function, and freezes Podium. I have attempted to inform Cakewalk about this (admittedly via KVR, at least so far) as it also occurs in Christian Budde’s VST Plugin Analyser.

I wanted to find out if anyone here owns or has access to Z3TA+ 2.1 and can tell me if it loads in Podium or not? I even tried a blank slate project, importing Z3TA+ 2.dll without any editing the plugin bits or anything. As soon as I go to open the GUI of Z3TA+ 2, Podium freezes, tooltip and all, and will not respond to any input. I have to force it closed in the task manager. VST Plugin Analyser also exhibits this issue.

FL Studio 10.8, Minihost and it’s own stand-alone do not have this issue. I’m trying to narrow it down, and want to find out if others have this problem.

For anyone that is interested, I found MiniHost does have this problem.

The problem is because I had my wireless Logitech gamepad dongle plugged in via USB. If I unplug it everything works again. I’ve never had this problem with anything before. I believe Z3ta+ 2 has a joystick function which may cause the issue. Interestingly, even when my gamepad was plugged in, FL Studio and its standalone still worked fine.

    So issue resolved now!
