    did that loaded a track with alchemy played 2 bad notes and wanted to delete them like you do in reaper cubase reason etc. there is no piano roll editor in my copy of this program just a box with the midi info but no way to delete particular notes.

    i did that then i needed to delete a few notes but when i hit delete the entire midi track was gone. also when i double click an editor opens but not a piano roll.

    page 13 of the manual the medis browser is at the bottom left mine is top left.

    ok i have tried everything. i can’t do anything with the pencil tool and i still can’t repeat using the mixer. ther’s no way i can create a volume line in the audio or midi track then create points so i can adjust this? i am truly stumped!!!

    reaper does copy acid’s way of loop duplication. there are no phantom copies at all in reaper. the insert button is great. podium seems to be a wonderful program i want to commit to this daw and become verse in it. i will probably be bugging everyone on this forum with questions. you’ll have to forgive me i’m older than most here i assume (52) and i was out on the road playing instead of learning the computer!

    does that mean when i load a loop ican just use the alt key and drag copies of the loop like in reaper?

    what’s the difference in copies and phantom copies? can they both be edited?

    thank you! this is the nicest forum i have been on! reaper is sometimes snarky in their comments they expect everyone to be very computer versed. i’m older and just want to record music not be a computer tech guy.

    thanks! i figured out all of them except the pencil tool. when i create an automation lane then select pencil i can’t seem to draw anything. do i click and drag? or use another key with thre pencil?
