But that’s it. I don’t have any other wishes for Podium. If I recall correctly, the only thing I thought missing with Podium was the ability to route midi.
My one wish would be to have this ported to Mac. I have been using Logic since I went to the Mac and although I quite Logic, I yearn for the day when Podium will run on the Mac. Until then, Logic it is.
I’ve had no problems running it under VMWare (or Bootcamp) but thought it would be good to get it running Crossover but have had no luck there.
I thought it looked a lot like Logic 8.
No luck. Something is still not right. The Crossover support guy thought the likelihood of it working was low.
I get nothing. It just sends me back to the Crossover install application screen.
When I look at the Crossover wine directory, some of those files are there but are missing.
I am going to bounce a question off the Crossover Support folks and see what they have to say.
It would be pretty cool to get this running on OSX without having to set up a VM session.
We had a similar problem with our business web site. It turns out there is a problem with the version of mysql that was being run that has some issues with counters when there is a hard failure. There is an update to mysql that rectifies this problem. We are in the process of updating.
It’s time to move on.
It’s not available natively on the Mac. 🙁
