What “creative possibilities” do you think about ?
Allow me to rephrase that – …someone may find some creative possibilties from this…I just can’t think of any myself 😉
Mart.
I can confirm that saving a new .ext then re-opening works as normal.
As you suggest Frits, it’s opening older .ext files that cause the problem.
Actually, all my previously saved .ext files have been created and saved using eXT in standalone operation – maybe that’s got something to do with it..

I’ll check it out. I have a license for eXT.
Are you using eXT: Beta 27-feb-06 ?
Me also.
Indeed, I can see there may creative possibilities here –
I just doubt that it’s intentionally coded into Podium 🙂

VstFX version works fine here too.

Nevermind Frits, I’ve found the problem now. My fault entirely 😳
I had moved the device definition and it was no longer connected in ‘device mapping properties’

Is the plugin editor visible in the track inspector?
Yes
You mean they are greyed out? This sounds like the plugin is not loaded. Are you sure that you have enabled monitoring?
Monitoring is enabled – ‘plugin presets’ option isn’t showing at all, but it’s there for other tracks.
Mart.
I’m not able to store presets for the zPEQ. The warning is displayed but the ‘plugin preset’ right-click menu options aren’t showing and ctrl+P doesn’t work either.

One of the things I love about VazMod is that it’s so easy to dive in and experiment with this stuff – in fact I’m going to try it right now
Did you ever try? How did it work out?
/Joachim
Yes, I tried it. I’m not sure what kind of sound to expect so I don’t know if I’ve achieved what you were describing. I wasn’t sure which settings to choose on the sine-osc to get 1-3000hz? Perhaps you could send me a patch so I can compare what you’ve done to my attempt.
Cheers,
Mart.
Excellent update – Thanks Frits! 😀
Mart.
Just to add that I also like the new look very much – good stuff Frits.

Should it be a setting in the sequence/sound properties dialogs? This color would then apply to all tracks where the sequence is placed.
That’s exactly along the lines I was thinking 🙂
Mart.
I suggested something like this a long time back. Much like the sequencer in Reason automatically assigns colours to different parts on a track. I wouldn’t necessarily want to go as far as that in Podium, but an option to set the colour for a unique sequence/clip on a track would be a helpful addition.
