I like the new look for the tools icons, but I agree with super_crunchy that a darker outline would be an improvement.

Some nice UI changes Frits – Good stuff 🙂

Well, I hope it works out for you Frits.
It’s good news for all us Podium users, that’s for sure 🙂

PS Anyone else forgetful like me?
Errm..me too 😉 – I agree with your suggestion as well.
I think this issue may have come up before mind you.

Hello Max! – and welcome (My youngest son is called Max too!) I’m sure Podium will live up to your expectations.
Any questions – you’ll find that Frits and others here are very helpful 😀

OK – cool Frits – that clears it up. I found someone else selling one that comes with the Virus plugin, currently at £250 – So still looking.
Mart.
Thanks for that Frits.
I’m a bit confused by your reference to firewire in relation to the ‘element’ as it’s a pci card. Have I missed something?
My main inclination towards this purchase – along with the quality of the fx – is to take the strain off the cpu a bit and allow more room for VSTi’s.
Anyway, I’m going to investigate some more before I make a decision.

Nice one Joachim 🙂
One of the things I love about VazMod is that it’s so easy to dive in and experiment with this stuff – in fact I’m going to try it right now ❗

Copying tracks by dragging and dropping with control key held, now also copies the events on the tracks.
Yes! That’s better – Thanks Frits 🙂

1. VST automation via external controllers (midi and ..wow…OSC) 😉
2…..
3. Midi only VST support
When – *hopefully* – these two additions are in place, then Podium will have all the main features I need 🙂

I didn’t realise that you had been doing parttime stuff as well Frits. I was kind of glad, since 60 licenses will only buy so much food!
I’m very impressed with the way you have taken your time and ensured stability throughout. Much better than have a fanfare of publicity and a product that falls over every 5 minutes 🙂
I heartily agree – I often wondered whether or not you (Frits) were making a living on Podium alone.
I’m certain that top quality product will always come through in end though.
Mart.
Thanks Frits…I just wondered because I seem to recall that cubase has a similar looking list of events which can be edited and added to – it’s a long time since I last looked at cubase though…

I’ve done some initial tests on a 3.0 GHz hyperthreading enabled system. While the extra CPU headroom varies more than on my dual-core system, I’ve still managed to get up to 70% extra CPU utilization with some arrangements. I was expecting something like 10-30%, so I’m amazed at how much you can gain with proper hyperthreading support 😯
Wow Frits, that’s quite something 😯 😀
My current system is 3.0 ghz with hyperthreading – eagerly looking forward to the next release…

So add my vote to it ! (together with the option to NOT load the last project at startup)
If you save a file named ‘Default.pod’ in the ‘Zynewave Podium Projects’ folder, Podium should then always load that file at start-up, rather that the last project file you were working on.
Mart.
Agreed.
Nice example too 😆
